David Staddon Cert CII - Commercial Account Handler
David has over 10 years insurance experience and joined A-One in 2018 to assist the Business Development Managers with efficiently delivering their services to their clients and negotiating with insurers. David has experience in both personal lines and commercial insurance and has a particular passion for professional indemnity risks.
David offers his clients a through approach to their insurances. He listens to understand their requirements and anticipates any queries a client may have to deliver a solution that is comprehensive. In the future David would like to achieve his ACII qualification and have his own portfolio of clients, looking forward to being a fully fledged and capable member of the company.
When David is not in the office he enjoys physical and mental exercise including the gym, jujitsu at phoenix MMA, electric board games and painting miniatures. David often partakes in charity work and is a keen fund-raiser for local charity Diverse Abilities.
Steph Selby Cert CII - Team Manager/Promo Girl
Stephanie has worked in Insurance for 5 years. Back in the office Steph is the Manager of the Property Team and manages a team of 12. This includes 7 Account Executives, 3 Claims Executives and an Administrator. She assists them in their day to day activities; providing the best policies for our clients and potential clients. She is responsible for issuing monthly reports to the Board of Directors and the other managers.
Steph holds the Cert CII accreditation and in 2015 entered to win the Shooting Star at the RockStar Awards which are designed for young people who have celebrated success within their role.
When Steph is not working she enjoys supporting Liverpool FC, watching football and spending time with family and friends.
Anthony Bristow Cert CII - Claims Manager
Anthony has 19 years of supporting clients with their claims, submitting to insurers and ensuring cover is correctly established and handled in a timely manner.
Anthony specialises in property, business interruption and liability claims. Business Interruption experience was gained whilst at Ace European Group but honed whilst working for loss adjusters and developed continually. Liability issues have been an interest and active training throughout his career has been undertaken along with many years handling these claims. He treats every claim with the same diligence and his attention to detail is second to none.
Anthony is Cert CII accredited and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.
Anthony enjoys the working environment at FP Adult, it's relaxed and he is able to bounce ideas from other experienced people in the office.
When Anthony isn't handling claims he enjoys playing bass guitar, making home brew and restoring classic cars.
Ryan Jupp - Company Director
Ryan specialises in Commercial Property Insurance and has worked for A-One since 2000 with over 25 years insurance experience. He enjoys working for a company which has a family run feel but a corporate standing.
Ryan offers his clients a personal touch which makes his service stand out from the rest. He knows price is important but service is everything. His day to day role is to manage and promote the business and make strategic operational decisions for the company and ensuring that the company meets its statutory obligations as well as overseeing the development of the company’s commercial property arm.
Ryan is a family man and enjoys playing golf and watching motorsport.
Ian Penfold MSTI Cert CII - Managing Director
Ian founded FP Adult in 2007 after dealing with adult industry risks for 4 years and identifying a gap in the market. Ian has 31 years insurance experience and his company A-One Insurance has grown into a top 75 UK Broker.
Ian's main responsibilities are for the strategic planning and direction of the business taking care of acquisitions, mergers and appointments or appointed representatives.
Ian specialises in complex commercial risks, motor fleet, professional indemnity, cargo and cybercrime risks. Ian offers a 24/7 service to his clients and has very close relationships with key decision makers at the insurers and underwriting and claims teams.
Ian enjoys the interaction with all his staff and seeing individuals grow personally with more and more responsibility to develop their careers.
Out of the office, Ian is a keen golf player and likes to spend time messing around on the water with his family.
